Ihave just checked my service schedule and it only mentions the toothed belt on 1.9 TDI every 95k - 2.0TDI & 2.0 TFSI every 114k. No mention of the ancillary belt on the 2.7 & 3.0 TDI engines, so assume these don't get changed untill they break.
Iput a lot of miles on my TDI, roughly 1,000 miles/week, and I'm coming up on 120k pretty quick. From talking to the dealer and reading posts here, it looks like most recommendations put the timing belt change at between 110-130k miles. I've inspected my belt and can see no signs of cracking.
